TP-Link Wireless Access Points EAP225 Editorial Review
The TP-Link AC1350 Wireless Access Point (EAP225) has garnered a mix of positive and negative feedback from users. Many customers have highlighted its excellent signal strength and reliable performance when properly configured, making it a good option for extending Wi-Fi coverage in larger spaces or challenging environments. Users have praised the ease of setup, particularly the ability to manage multiple SSIDs and configure advanced settings, which can cater well to a variety of networking needs. The stylish design and solid build quality also received favorable remarks, with many appreciating the slimline aesthetic, which diminishes the visual impact of mounting devices on walls or ceilings. However, several users reported significant issues related to Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatibility and intermittent connectivity problems. In various instances, customers have experienced challenges when connecting the EAP225 to TP-Link PoE switches, leading to the need for alternative power solutions such as using the provided PoE injectors. A repeated concern involved sporadic Wi-Fi dropouts, especially in setups where multiple devices were installed. This raised questions about the EAP devices' reliability when powered through certain switches versus the supplied injectors. Those who have run into these issues often noted that research into common problems with the OMADA series could have prepared them for these compatibility pitfalls. In summary, while the TP-Link EAP225 is celebrated for strong performance, ease of use, and aesthetic design, potential buyers should be cautious of its PoE limitations and the connectivity challenges reported by users. **
