InsectGuard Garments IGC1-GWB-74 Editorial Review
The Tick Gaiters - Permethrin Treated are designed to provide a formidable barrier against a range of outdoor pests including ticks, mosquitoes, and flies. Users have generally praised these gaiters for their fit, quality, and effectiveness, particularly in areas with high insect exposure. One customer emphasized the peace of mind they offer while working in heavily wooded regions, noting that they have successfully avoided ticks throughout the summer by Consistently using the gaiters in conjunction with additional sprays. The treatment with Permethrin is a major selling point, as it is praised for being effective and safe, with users expressing confidence in the protection it provides—a sentiment amplified by the fact that it is the same treatment used by military personnel. The lightweight design is also appreciated, particularly during warm weather, making them suitable for extended outdoor use. However, there are some drawbacks noted by users. One customer reported that the gaiters snagged easily and did not last through a single day of wear, leading to concerns about durability and quality. Such issues highlight the importance of both functionality and resilience under the rigors of outdoor activities. In summary, the Tick Gaiters appear to deliver on their promise of insect protection with the additional assurance of being Permethrin treated. While most users recommend the product for its effectiveness and comfort, potential buyers should be aware of concerns regarding the durability of the materials used. **
