  • Question: Dremel wood cutting disc SC544: -Dremel describes this item diameter as 38mm. You list it's diameter as 25mm. Who is correct?

    Answer: 38mm. Terrific for cutting and shaping, I use it a lot for carving.
  • Question: Will this cutting disc and mandrel work on a Black and Decker multi-tool?

    Answer: Almost certainly (with the SpeedClic). It is just a matter of collet size. I already use it on a regular drill.
  • Question: Does this disc come with an attachment?

    Answer: You will need to buy the shaft that holds the disc separately. The first time I used mine it fell apart. Expensive experience.
  • Question: Will this work with the Dremel 3000-15 b0078lenzc?

    Answer: Yes, the EZ SpeedClic mandrel and cutting discs are compatible with all Dremel Rotary Tools including the Dremel 3000-15.
  • Question: Can this be used to cut through steel? Or can it only grind down on the actual flat face of the disk?

    Answer: No, this disc is for grinding, it won't cut through steel. If you want to cut steel you should look at the Dremel EZ SpeedClic Cutting Disc 2615S456JC or 2615S406JC (if you don't have the EZ SpeedClic Mandrel you would need the latter).
  • Question: Had this item before. Can't remember. Do you get 2 wheels or 1?

    Answer: You get 1 wheel but you can purchase a pack of wheels if you want more.
  • Question: Would this be OK for cutting and trimming a few ceramic wall tiles?

    Answer: No, these cutting discs are for cutting metal. To cut and trim ceramic wall tiles you'd need to use the Dremel SC545 EZ SpeedClic Diamond Cutting wheel.
  • Question: The Dremel SC402 EZ SpeedClic needed to mount these discs is £9. Why is this not mentioned in the advert?

    Answer: Not sure what information you mean by 'advert' but an EZ SpeedClic Mandrel is needed for all of the EZ SpeedClic accessory range. This mandrel is supplied in some tool kits, in some EZ SpeedClic Accessory kits or separately. As you only need one EZ SpeedClic mandrel it is not supplied in every EZ SpeedClic accessories kit because it is not needed.
  • Question: What's in the kit?

    Answer: This kit includes a SpeedClic shaft and two cut-off wheels.
  • Question: Will it cut carbon fibre?

    Answer: Thank you for your question. This cutting wheel is designed for cutting wood rather than carbon fibre. Although it may cut through it, it will wear the cutting disk considerably and may break it.
