Dek M089 Editorial Review
The Men's Ascend Triple Touch Fastening Trek & Trail Shoe is a versatile choice for outdoor activities such as hiking and dog walking. The soles are thick enough for gardening and short distance driving in wet conditions, providing adequate grip. However, the tops of the shoes are flimsy plastic, which may not be suitable for those looking for a more durable option. While the shoes are not fully waterproof, they can withstand normal conditions. It is worth noting that the size guide may list the shoes in the Boys Department, but they are indeed men's trainers. Additionally, the shoes do not contain any metal inserts, making them suitable for jobs that require passing through airport security. Customers have generally found the style of these shoes to be nice and have expressed satisfaction with the fit. However, some have noted that the shoes could be more comfortable and that the uppers have split after only a month of use. The soles have also worn badly and pitted heavily when walking on gravel areas, leading to concerns about the durability and suitability for their intended purpose. Overall, the Men's Ascend Triple Touch Fastening Trek & Trail Shoe offers decent functionality for outdoor activities, but may not be the most durable or comfortable option available.
