Answer: No, the winder works on an intermittent basis with extended pause and sleep phases to protect the mainspring of the watch. -

Is this battery operated?
Answer: It is power operated, it could use batteries too. This winder will automatically switch to mains power if both power sources are connected. I just have mine connect to power. -

Will this winder support a Rolex Submariner?
Answer: Absolutely. I have been using it for my submariner. -

I have a 56mm Invicta automatic .. will it fit in this winder?
Answer: I would say probably not, that’s a huge watch for any winder. I think your best bet is to tie it to the wheel of your car, it should wind it up pretty fast. :) -

Is this winder quiet enough to be by your bed at night?
Answer: It’s incredibly quiet. I have this by my bed and I am a light sleeper, and the winder does not bother my sleep at all. -

If this comes pre-programmed to 900 tpd, is there a way to set delays or breaks so that it hits closer to 650 tpd?
Answer: No, as David said you can not. You have two options, either you can manually turn it off every now and then (just set it to the 12hr delay mode) or plug it into a timer. One thing to remember is 650 tpd is to maintain, not wind up the watch, so if you just want to keep your watches going in rotation this winder is ok. If you want to leave them on there for long periods then you want a model that lets you set the tpd, Wolf makes them but they are a little more expensive. -
