How do you get trapped water out of the floating part?
Answer: Push it down. Your dog will learn fast. -

How often does the filter have to be replaced?
Answer: We recommend replacing the filter every 2-3 months. However, if you feel the filter smells bad, you can change the filter immediately. -

Can you purchase replacement parts?
Answer: You could try reaching out to the manufacturer. The bowls have solved our water play by dog's problem. I just ordered a second one for our RV. -

How long does the filter need to soak in water before using?
Answer: The filter needs to soak in water for 10 minutes before the first use. -

Answer: The bowl is working well on the running RV. We didn't take any test on the sailboat but it should work. If not working, feel free to return or contact us. -
