4th. GEN. Smart Outdoor Weatherproof Padlock, Bluetooth + NFC, (Long Shackle)

The eGeeTouch 4th Gen Smart Outdoor Weatherproof Padlock has garnered a mixed reception from customers, who have expressed significant frustration with the product's functionality and support. While the initial setup is reported to be straightforward, users report issues arising after only a brief period of use. Many customers have experienced failure of the Bluetooth feature, rendering them unable to unlock the padlock via the app or NFC tags after a few weeks. Multiple users reported incidents of the padlock becoming completely unresponsive and requiring cumbersome manual interventions, such as the use of bolt cutters or hacksaws, to retrieve their belongings. Their dissatisfaction is amplified by a lack of responsive customer support for troubleshooting these issues. Moreover, the integration with Apple Watch has drawn particular ire, as customers noted that it requires simultaneous use of their phones to function, which undermines the convenience it purports to offer. Critics also lament the absence of additional NFC tags and a need for a more reliable power source, suggesting that solar charging could enhance the product’s utility. In summary, while the eGeeTouch padlock presents a modern solution for security with technological features, many users find it ultimately unfit for purpose, especially given the performance degradation over time and inadequate customer service. **
