Maps International Maps CM01728_S_SILKP Editorial Review
The Scratch The World® Travel Map is a popular choice among travel enthusiasts who enjoy documenting their adventures. Measuring at 84 x 59 cm, this X-Large map provides plenty of space to scratch off countries as they are visited. The map itself is made by Maps International, a company with 50 years of map making experience. The text on the map is in English, and it features a range of countries, including major islands such as Barbados and St. Lucia. However, some customers have noted that the cities on the map are quite small and difficult to scratch off. In terms of quality, some customers have expressed concerns about the paper being light and not very robust. There have also been reports of the map arriving damaged, with countries already scratched off. On the positive side, customers appreciate the aesthetic appeal of this map. It features lovely muted neutrals and has a vintage map/globe-like appearance. The curved grid scale is also a unique feature that sets it apart from other flat 2D maps. Overall, the Scratch The World® Travel Map offers a fun and rewarding way to keep track of travel experiences. However, potential buyers should be aware of the limitations in terms of city detail and potential quality issues.
