The Nipple Shields for Nursing Newborn from this brand are an absolute must-have for breastfeeding mothers. These shields are made from premium quality 925 silver, providing comfort and relief to sore and sensitive nipples. These cups protect and soothe your nipples, and help in healing from breastfeeding-related damage. These cups come in two sizes, Large and XL, and can be used pre and postnatal as a preventative measure for sensitive nipples, and nipples that have been damaged from expressing milk. For best results, it is recommended to use them for 2hrs a day 2 weeks before the baby is due. Customer feedback, on the other hand, is a mixed bag. While some sound very impressed with the healing properties and the prevention of breastfeeding-related damage, many others reported that these cups are thin and flimsy and of lower quality. Some have also reported that the milk gathering in the cups can cause Constant moisture leading to infection. A few have also reported that the edges of the shield were pinching painfully, making it very uncomfortable to use them. Lastly, some reported that the packaging looked used and stained, making them doubt the authenticity of the product.
