The Thames & Kosmos 697907 EXIT Haunted Roller Coaster is a unique escape room game designed for 1-4 players aged 10 and above. The game provides an immersive experience with a haunted roller coaster theme. Setting up the game is incredibly easy, requiring no additional setup apart from opening the box, taking out the booklet and cards, and getting started. The game instructions can be initially confusing, taking around 15 minutes for the players to understand the gameplay. It is recommended to start with one of the easier 2-star games in the series for a smoother introduction. The game does not provide a strong theme to dress up the playing room for added atmosphere, but players can create a sense of urgency by lowering the lighting and setting a time limit. It's important to note that this game is a one-time use only. Certain materials need to be cut up during gameplay, making it difficult to reuse. However, the game offers an estimated 4-hour playtime, making it a cost-effective alternative to other activities such as going to the cinema. While the game is designed for up to 4 players, it may be challenging for children under 13 to fully enjoy and participate. However, the game can be played remotely in different locations, allowing multiple players to join in the experience together. It is recommended to thoroughly familiarize oneself with the gameplay before starting or start early to avoid a lengthy playing session. Overall, the Thames & Kosmos 697907 EXIT Haunted Roller Coaster provides an engaging and immersive escape room experience for players.
