E-flite EFL01950 Editorial Review
The E-flite Eratix 3D FF is receiving positive feedback from both novice and experienced pilots, showcasing its versatility and performance across different flying styles. Notably, this flat foamy plane not only excels in 3D maneuvers, such as hovering, knife edging, and inversion, but it also performs admirably as a general sport plane. Customers appreciate its lightweight design, which allows for easy handling, even under less-than-ideal weather conditions. Users have found the plane to be straightforward to assemble, requiring approximately 20 minutes to get it ready for flight. Many have highlighted the successful binding process with compatible transmitters, such as the NX8, and tested the SAFE technology, although some prefer to fly without it. The flight characteristics are described as forgiving, with a stable performance that enables even beginners to learn 3D flying techniques effectively. While some experienced pilots mention that the plane feels noticeably heavier compared to other models, they also acknowledge that this added weight contributes to its stability, making it a good choice for those who frequently fly in varying wind conditions. Additionally, customers have emphasized the ease of obtaining replacement parts and performing minor repairs, incorporating additional features like larger wheels for better landings in varied terrain. Overall, the E-flite Eratix 3D FF is recommended for its great looks, impressive flying capabilities, and the potential it offers for both new and seasoned pilots to advance their flying skills. **
