Answer: Push the lancet all the way as far as it will go should then give you a reading -

How do I change the measurements from mmol/l to mg/dl?
Answer: To change the measurement from mmol/l to mg/dl multiply the reading in mmol/l by 18. The figure you get will be in mg/dl. Also if your meter is reading in mg/dl you can convert the reading to mmol/l by dividing the mg/dl reading by 18 to get the reading in mmol/ -

Which control solution should I buy for this monitor?
Answer: You have to buy the test strips and monitor need to be of the same brand otherwise there most likely to be incompatible -

Mine doesn't have numbers on it or a red light.
Answer: There is no red light on this testing kit and the numbers only come up once you have taken a blood sample with the lancet needle and inserted a test strip into the monitor, then put a sample of blood onto the test strip, then the numbers will show your blood glucose level. -

Does this come with control solution? Where can I get some?
Answer: No -

What is the difference between lancets and test strips? Will I need to buy both when these finish?
Answer: I believe that what are called lancets are what you use to pierce the skin so that a droplet of blood is available to be used on one of the test strips. So you do need both, though it is possible to re-use a lancet if only one person is using it, but I suspect that even with only one user, the lancet should not be reused very much. -

Answer: Don't know. That is a question only the manufacturer could answer
